The Process
For the cover, I wanted to make sure the typeface fit the illustration style and vibe of the artist. I studied his art work, looked at the brush strokes and colors he would pick. I decied to make my own custom typeface to match his illustrations. I went with a very rough brush inside adobe fresco and free handed the type, making small changes until I was satisfied.
